Legiit 3.0 is here, and it's f#!**cking experience.
We've already started making changes to the website that'll help our freelancers and customers Get More Stuff Done.
In this blog post, we're going to walk you through what's to come, and what has already changed.
What was Legiit 1.0, and 2.0?
Legiit 1.0 was the first version of Legiit that launched in 2018, which looked like this:
Chris M. Walker founded Legiit after another marketplace he used broke down, and that's how Legiit was born.
Chris, then partnered with Jim Sabellico, the owner of the Jlouis marketing and development agency, who became the co-founder of Legiit and developed the site with his team.
Initially, Chris didn't plan to start a marketplace, but after he started selling on his own, other freelancers asked him if they could sell their services there too... So then Chris started Legiit.
What about Legiit 2.0?
Legiit 2.0 was a newer, updated version of 1.0. It had a newer, and modern design, and more features:
At this point, the team also started growing with a special focus on support to ensure our customers could use Legiit flawlessly.
For Freelancers, by Freelancers
One thing that made Legiit unique right from the launch in 2018, was that we're a company for freelancers, by freelancers. Chris was an experienced SEO freelancer before he started Legiit, and the same goes for Jim as he freelanced before and while building his agency.
This is something that always stayed with the company, as all of the talent on the team is sourced from Legiit.
A Community-Driven Platform
The community behind Legiit has always been a core focus for our company, because we always wanted to create a space where freelancers and business owners help each other. That place is the Legiit Facebook group, where freelancers can promote their services, and anyone is welcome to ask questions or share their success.
What's Legiit 3.0?
Legiit 3.0 is the newest version of Legiit which focuses on making us not just another a Marketplace, but a complete business platform to help everyone involved grow. We wanted to ensure we're offering as much as possible to both our customers and freelancers.

With the launch of Legiit 3.0, one of the first major changes we made was allowing users to make social posts on Legiit.
Meaning: We're turning Legiit into a place where freelancers can directly grow a following for their business, and bring them to their services without any issues.

Superstar SEO is Chris' globally-recognized SEO brand that includes:

Jlouis is Jim's marketing and developing agency which has worked with not just us, but also Audi, American Express and many more huge brands. Just like Superstar SEO, Jlouis existed before Legiit but is in partnership with Legiit on most projects, and is where the development for Legiit has come from.
Snapt.io
Snapt is a link shortener, plus much more that Chris acquired. It's completely free to use, and has some excellent features such as profile pages, and more.
Unlike something like Bitly, it doesn't have paid plans despite having a lot more features.
LegiitLeads
LegiitLeads is a tool that helps agencies find clients and perform cold email/phone outreach, by giving them the lead contact information of sites that have the problem you're selling the solution too.
But it offers a lot more, such as email templates and it also gives you recommendations from Legiit to help you outsource the fulfillment as easily as possible.
Audiit.io
Audiit.io is an on-page analysis tool designed to help users find the details you need to create SEO pages that rank.
Some of the data it shows you in a matter of clicks are:

- Keyword density
- -Data on the slug, and the headings

CaptionBox
CaptionBox is a social media marketing tool that Jim, and the developing team created. It's designed to help users format captions easily and create them quicker.
It's also got a more tools like Quote generators, and being able to count the characters.

Our longer-term vision is to have everything you need in one place... Legiit. That's why as part of Web 3.0, we will be launching a master dashboard where you can access all the tools to manage your business.
This may be a page builder, it may be another SEO tool... Well, in the long term, it's probably going to be a lot more than what we just named.
