Greetings Legiit Community
Since launching in February 2018 Legiit has been fortunate enough to help thousands of freelancers offer their talents to tens of thousands of customers helping them with whatever they need to grow their business.
We want to be able to continue to expand and grow the Legiit community at and even faster rate and help as many freelancers and businesses as possible as possible.
This includes adding additional payment processors, for our customers to use, and our sellers to withdraw their hard earned funds to.
We also have to make sure that our customers can purchase through Legiit secure in the knowledge that they are going to get the service they paid for, and the comfort of knowing that if for some reason they don’t, that Legiit will protect them.
In order to make these and many of our other future goals a reality we have had to take a long look at our processes and make some tough choices.
One of those changes will be the frequency at which payouts are processed.
In the past funds from completed orders were immediately available for a seller to withdraw.
Starting soon, as part of a more comprehensive appeals process (more on that in the coming days) there will be a 5 day hold on all funds after an order is completed before they become available for withdrawal.
So for example if a delivered order is marked complete by a customer or by the system on April 15th the funds from that order will not be available for withdrawal until April 20th.
This is a necessary step in order to be compliant with the terms of some of the additional payment processors we wish to bring to the Legiit community customers as well as to continue to offer sellers and buyers alike a marketplace they know they can count on.
