You and only you alone, only need to have the right, privelege, and authority to send out your newsletters and other email communication to your subscribers and not you share it to 3rd party. Because most people don't have a web software like phpList, they are just obliged and share their email address of their users to 3rd party because they need a mailing list manager to mail out their email communication which is meant to be private.
You or assign anyone in your company to do this for you but with it comes your blessing and delegated authority to do it on your behalf and of the company.
You and your company enjoys this position exclusively. Your contents and your ads.
That is the beauty of this, since PHPList is open-source therefore it carries with it the pricetag of being FREE. And of all the open-source web software that I see all through these years, only PHPList updates, and upgrades their web software which brings you another benefit. It is a secure and reliable web-based software of choice.
