How To Optimize YouTube Videos Properly in 2024

This guide has been created due to the recent changes in the YouTube algorithm since a lot of people are having problems with ranking videos. In the past, I used to recommend including the main keyword in the title and 3-4 times in the description and it worked well but now the rules of optimization have changed!  

Here's what I recommend in 2024 moving forward:  

1.  Include the main keyword at the very beginning of the title  
2.  Keep the video title shorter  
3.  Create the description naturally and include a part of the keyword once in the first sentence.  

In a nutshell: Use single words in your description rather than putting the exact keyword as a string. Slightly de-optimize your keywords in the description and don't be very aggressive.
