As Google changes so do we. From the way the links are built to how everything is linked together.  

One of the things that Google has done is make niche relevancy more and more important, when it comes to sites linking to you. They have also quietly gone through ad adjusted how many tiers of links they now crawl and measure the relevancy of those links to your niche.

Keeping this in mind we have completely gone through and rebuilt our whole network of services. We are niche relevant with every tier we build. All of the web 2.0 accounts that we are using are aged and posted to regularly.  

This helps with a few things:  

• Keeps the bots coming back to the sites
• Allows the sites to stay active longer
• Builds up the relevancy to the niche as more articles are added

Link stacks can really help get you a solid boost in the rankings, just have to understand this is not a 1 and done type of service. This should be used on a regular weekly basis. This will help you climb the rankings along with maintain rankings.  
I tend to build one of these a week to all of my inner pages, and 2 to my home page. The reason for this is due to keeping things looking natural. It is very odd to only have links going to your home page. And, even then you can only link so many keywords to your root domain. By adding links to other pages it really allows you to widen the keywords you are targeting. getting your site in front of that many more potential clients.
