For instance, if your user wants a cheap laptop, you will already have a supporting article detailing the laptops in between certain price ranges. You link these articles to the pillar post. If the laptop they want has certain features, you create supporting blog posts that detail those different features. A good example would be gaming laptops or Chromebooks. All these will link back to the pillar post.

In this way, you have various supporting articles that cover different aspects of the topic, linking back to one large pillar post that has in-depth information on that topic.
